This is a general-purpose serum substitute used for culture of nerve cells. It is suited to the initial culture of nerve cells and neural stem cells. Differentiation of neural stem cells is induced by the ingredient contained in FBS. A serum substitute such as this product is used for culture while maintaining undifferentiated state. Holo-transferrin is used in this product.
